Members of the Senedd are representatives of their community. They make decisions that shape the future of their towns, villages and cities on issues such as health, education, tax, and energy policy. It is therefore so important for MSs to represent the full diversity of our communities, making decisions to impact life for the better.
We know the barriers facing women in politics. We spend everyday challenging them, breaking down walls and delivering the support women need to stand for election and succeed. Why? Because we believe the world will be a better place when more women are in power. We are committed to building a Britain where at least 51% of elected officials are women.
