Our Peer Support Circles are a free online programme designed to give you the tools, support and space to explore your political ambitions. Run over 7 weekly sessions, it’s the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded women from across the political spectrum as you explore your pathway into politics together, growing both personally and professionally.
Using the power of coaching, reflection and peer connection, our Peer Support Circles have encouraged hundreds of women onwards in their political careers. Over 7 weekly sessions, you will explore:
Your political goals; your aspirations broken down into clear, purposeful and achievable tasks.
Your story; succinctly communicate who you are and what you’d like to achieve.
How to build your team; identify what you need support with and who could help you achieve it.
Your public presence; learn how to increase your visibility, how to stay safe online, alongside valuable marketing skills, tools and shared experience.
Building your influence; develop your communication skills and learn how to handle conflict like a pro!
The Peer Support Circles are a safe and fully inclusive space welcoming all women at any stage of their journey. However, we feel you’ll get the most from these workshops if you’re already politically engaged and ready to explore how to take your interest further.
The weekly sessions will run on Thursday evenings 27th April - 15th June 19:30-21:00. There will be no session on the 4th May due to Local Elections taking place in England.
Registration for Cohort 10 of Peer Support Circles has now closed. Our next cohort will run later this year, register your interest to be the first to know when registration opens for Cohort 11.
Thank you to our funders Barrow Cadbury Trust and Equality and Human Rights Fund for funding this programme.
