Be A Councillor - Migrants Make the Difference

Passionate about your local community, a fairer society for migrants, and political representation?

Interested in running for local council elections as a first-generation migrant in the UK?

Join Migrant Democracy Project, and key first-generation migrant councillors who champion migrant rights in local councils throughout the country, to discuss candidate eligibility, election and registration processes, the role of a councillor, campaigning information and much more!

This event is being run by one of our partner organisations - 50:50 Parliament, the Disability Policy Centre, Operation Black Vote, The Politics Project, Migrant Democracy Project or the Local Government Association (LGA) and they are managing the access to the event but we will do all we can to help and support you, you can email us at community@elect-her.org.uk.
